A Celebration of Craft, Community, and the People Behind the Pour
On June 19-20, from 2–6 PM, Newport Market will once again transform into a gathering place for the incredible makers who have helped shape Oregon’s world-class craft beverage scene.
For two afternoons, you’ll have the chance to meet brewers, cider makers, and beverage innovators from across the Pacific Northwest, sample their creations, and discover your next favorite pour.
Admission is free, samples are plentiful, and our entire beer wall will be 20% off during the event. It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up for summer, try something new, and maybe even discover your next favorite.
Canapalooza is about hearing the story behind a recipe, learning what inspired a brewery’s newest release, and celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship, and passion that make our region such a special place to live.
This year’s lineup features 32 incredible craft beverage makers, each bringing something unique to the table. This year is especially meaningful as Newport Market celebrates 50 years in our community. To mark the occasion, we partnered with our friends at Sunriver Brewing to create Solid Gold, a commemorative West Coast Pale Ale crafted in honor of five decades of serving Central Oregon. Stop by Canapalooza, give it a taste, and let us know what you think. We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate than by creating something special with another beloved local business.
And of course, no Canapalooza would be complete without Robert, our very own BBG (Bald-Headed Beer Guy). For years, Robert has helped generations of customers discover new favorites, answer impossible beer questions, and leave with exactly the right six-pack for the occasion. His passion for craft beverages is contagious, and one of the best parts of the event is getting to see him doing what he loves most: connecting people with great beer and the incredible makers behind it.
