Time to break out the autumn ales, and browns, and some pumpkins and… and …
September 22nd officially marked the beginning of Autumn, and with the crisp morning air we’re pulling on sweaters, lacing up our boots and reaching for those Fall comforts. Our shelves are glowing with fall treats, and new substantial and flavorful brews are arriving weekly. Pumpkin ales from Laurelwood, Elysian and Anderson Valley. Woodchuck has released a pumpkin cider and many more have released their harvest ales– all with colors to mirror fall leaves. World-class Samuel Smith’s Nut Brown Ale recently received the honor of the being the highest-rated beer in the Oct. ’13 issue of Wine Enthusiast Magazine -93 points!
