Pours a clear, deep copper with a creamy white head of dense, small bubbles. The retention is strong and so is the lacing. Makes for a pretty beer. The malt is strong with this one, mostly cracked wheat and Rye with a healthy dose of green hops: piney and citrusy, but mostly earthy. Flavor is much like the aroma, baled bread with some metallic flavor I often get from Reds, followed by soapy bitterness that’s also nectar and slightly citric. Finish is balanced, as is the feel. This one doesn’t really stand out, but its solid. ABV: 8%
