It’s no mystery that Central Oregon loves its craft beer. We crank it out like grandma in a spanking machine on her birthday… hit after hit after hit. Perhaps the mighty Deschutes is tinged with hops and malts. Or maybe it’s the deliriously crisp mountain air. Whatever it is, craft beer gets our motors running.
So when a bunch of people get together and celebrate 10 (!) days of the liquid goodness, we’re that giddy kid in the front row frantically raising his hand to be included. Breweries, good beer and the people who love drinking it? We’re totally in.
The 5th Annual Central Oregon Beer Week is now upon us, running Friday May 20th until Sunday May 29th. That’s 10 glorious days of beer. All 29 regional breweries will make an appearance at the COBW festivities. We’ve scoured the schedule and picked our drop-everything-and-go-now favorites:

Don’t forget that Redmond’s own Wild Ride Brewing will be pouring samples at Newport Market on Friday May 27th from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
While you’re here, check out our Great Wall of Beer, recently expanded to showcase four additional feet of canned craft beer. We’re not one to brag, but it’s pretty awesome. We did a little fickling around on our calculators and figured out you could pick a different brew each day and go a full year without drinking the same beer. Huzzah!
