A love note to our Protected Hour shopper

We Appreciate Your Trust In Us!

First, thank you. Thank you for trusting us, as your grocery store, to turn to during this global pandemic. We appreciate that your trust is something to be valued and not taken for granted. Our Employee Owners appreciate that you choose our locally founded, employee owned store.

We write to share the news with you that, for several reasons, our last day of designated protected shopping time will be Friday, August 21. On Saturday, August 22, we will return to our regular store hours of 7 days a week, 7am-10pm. You deserve to know what those reasons are, so:
🔸 We rely on our trained courtesy clerks for early morning sanitizing prior to your arrival. With school starting, due to state employment laws, we are unable to utilize our under-age-18 courtesy clerks for this important duty.
🔸 The turnout of customers during this shopping hour, three days a week, has gone from 100 customers in an hour to single digits most days. With such a low customer count, it makes it difficult to have a dozen or more staff on hand.

What we offer you, realizing many of you are still in a position of concern and or compromise, is this:

❤ If online shopping with trunk delivery does not work for you, we ask that you call and speak with our Store Manager Erika to help us accommodate you, 541-382-3940. There is a possibility of arranging a pre-opening.
We want to continue to be your partner through this time, as well as every day, regardless of COVID.

We look forward to hearing from you. On behalf of all of our colleagues, we look forward to the day we can return to simply selling groceries in a warm and welcoming environment. Until that time, we remain here for you and your family. Please do not hesitate to call us 541-382-3940 or email us at [email protected].

Enjoy our beautiful Central Oregon sunshine,
