Basic doesn’t mean boring, as you’ll find in this basic balsamic reduction.
1-1/2 cups balsamic vinegar (we have many to choose from)
3 tbsp brown sugar, packed
3 sprigs fresh rosemary, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed and cracked away from the peels
Add ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a slight boil and reduce to low. Simmer for 10 minutes to thicken the sauce. Remove garlic. Set aside and let cool. Add to your favorite duck recipe!
Tip: This is also awesome drizzled over warm brie.
