The Best Weeks Are 10 Days Long (and Involve Drinking Beer)

Newport Avenue Market loves craft beer! It runs through our veins like a kid let loose inside Chuck E Cheese: fast and furious. IPAs, Porters, Stouts, Lagers… it doesn’t matter. We dig it all.

We’re not one to brag, but… have you seen this?

Beer Wall

We call it “The Great Wall of Beer.” Ever stood in front of it, waffling over what to try next? You’re not alone! We figure you could pick a different brew each day and go a full year without drinking the same beer.

Good beer. We’ve got a lot of it, especially the local stuff. Did you know that Central Oregon has one of the highest breweries-to-population ratio anywhere in the WORLD?

Now that’s something to drink to!

And speaking of things to celebrate…

The 4th Annual Central Oregon Beer Week kicks off on May 22nd, running through the 31st.That’s ten days… TEN… of reveling in craft beer!

Beer week

All 26 regional breweries will make an appearance during the week, tempting beer fans with a rush of liquid goodness. We’ve scoured the schedule and have handpicked the following don’t-miss COBW events:

Friday May 29            High Desert Museum Brewing Culture, 5-9 pm
