This coming Tuesday, December 19, is going to be a creamy classic! We’re serving up Clam Chowder, Garden Salad, Garlic Bread, Oyster Crackers, and Newport’s Own Brownie.
Clam Chowder (aka Chowda) originated in the Eastern U.S., but is a popular dish across the country and a filling one at that. This week, we’re serving ours New England style, meaning in a white base. This Chowda is loaded with creamy goodness, yummy clams, and hearty veggies (think potatoes, onions, and celery). It’s matched perfectly with a garden salad, garlic bread, and oyster crackers for a nice salty crunch. Bonus! Newport’s Own Brownie is included for dessert. Sweet!
