If there were one vintage not to miss out on, this would be it. Ken Wright says that “after thirty-five years of winemaking experience in Oregon and California, [he] can count the truly great years on three fingers. 1979 in California’s Monterey County, 1990 in the Willamette Valley and, yes, 2012 in the Willamette Valley as well.”
Well folks, the 2012’s are in the house!
The Willamette Valley is synonymous with Pinot Noir, and we have four different vineyard varieties now available for your liking! Two of which are new to the Ken Wright Cellars line up, including Bryce Vineyards and Tanager Vineyards!
Most people plead guilty at one point or another to purchasing a bottle of wine based on its label. With these Pinots not only will you find fantastic artwork that reflects the locations, but your taste buds will thank you for purchasing this magnificent 2012 vintage. “The intensity of color, aroma and flavor is inspiring”.
The labels were illustrated by David Berkvam. Wright wanted something that would make his bottles jump off the shelf, and set himself apart from the rest, these illustrations do just that. They’ve been called “creepy,” “gothic,” and even “strange.” However, in the end the labels do their job, they make you remember them.
Swing in today and purchase a bottle or two or three or four of Ken Wright Cellars 2012 Vintage. You’ll be glad you did.
